About the project

Filante approaches dressing with a taste for the unexpected. Familiar garments take on different roles through unusual combinations, displaced details and shifts in perspective. We translated this attitude into an identity built around a small but essential gesture: the stitch.

Broken lines drawn from sewing form the core graphic language, beginning with the underlined logotype. Extended into large-scale typography, the underline picks out selected words, as though stitching them onto the page. It connects the act of making clothes with the way the brand speaks.

Serif typography, pale yellow and warm white carry the identity across stationery, posters and editorial layouts. Restrained compositions give way to oversized words and irregular line breaks, allowing the same elements to feel composed in one setting and unexpected in another.

The imagery brings this tension into view: ties gather into unfamiliar forms, garments obscure the body, and figures appear through reflections beyond the crop. An experimental Morse application takes the broken line into coded language, exploring another expression of the stitch.
